Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970, this 3x6 vintage runner rug is believed to hail from the mid-century Turkish artist Zeki Muren, a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s commemorative Mid-Century Pasha Collection.
Admirers of the craft will appreciate this design with polychromatic geometric patterns further accentuated by the sense of movement created by them. The playful colors of red, green and blue within the geometric patterns lend a more alluring sense of movement to otherwise comfortable, easy to decorate with geometry.
Condition:
This mid-century Zeki Muren runner further enjoys good condition for its age and origin. Its construction has been lowered to preserve its construction, which lends it the distressed look of wear and chic in a low pile.
