Shipping policy

Shipping is a pain.  We know it, we feel it, and we are here to deal with it for you so you never have to worry.  Let us make shipping easy for you!

Commercial and Residential Curbside shipping to the US, excluding Hawaii and Alaska, is 10% of the retail price for Pro members, free for Pro + Free Shipping members, and 9.5% of the retail price for Signature members so you can easily plan for shipping and bill your clients accordingly.  If you'd like white glove shipping options, the cost is quoted instantly when you start the check-out process and enter your ship-to address so you can see your shipping options and cost before you make your purchase.

There is a $195 minimum shipping charge for orders containing an item that must ship via Freight Carrier.

When freight shipments are ready to be delivered, the carrier will call to schedule your delivery.  You can reschedule this appointment before the delivery date, but if you don't reschedule and miss your appointment, you will be billed $150.  If you miss your delivery appointment again, you will be billed $250 for each subsequent missed delivery attempt.

If you need to delay the delivery of a freight shipment, you can do so for up to 15 days after the shipment arrives at the carrier's delivery terminal with no additional charge. After 15 days, DHC will assess a storage fee of $5/day.  This applies to each unique shipment so if you are storing multiple shipments at once, the $5/day is per shipment based on when each shipment arrived at the carrier's delivery terminal.

The estimated lead time on each product page shows the estimated delivery time with Curbside shipping. We do our best to keep the lead time up to date, but we cannot guarantee these estimates. Our Concierge will confirm the estimated ship date with the vendor and send this to you after you place your order or you can reach out to us at concierge@danielhouse.club to confirm before placing your order. Our concierge will also provide a tracking number via email as soon as your order ships.

Residential Curbside/Commercial:

Your order will be left by the curb with all packaging, which may include a pallet. Tracking info will be sent when the order ships. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CITY STREETS.

Room-of-Choice with Packaging Removal:

 

ROC with Packaging Removal is available for all items shipping to the US.  During delivery, your order will be brought to a room-of-choice and packaging will be removed, but items will not be assembled. Tracking info will be sent when the order ships.

White Glove:

 

White Glove delivery is available for all items shipping to the US. Your order will be brought to a room-of-choice, packaging removed, and items will be assembled. White Glove assembly does not include services like the installation of any electrical fixtures, affixing a vanity console top to a base, or affixing any furniture items to a wall. Installation services require other types of licensed professionals.

Expedited Curbside: Expedited shipping reduces transit time to 1-2 weeks after leaving the vendor’s warehouse.  It does not expedite backordered or made-to-order items or the vendor's processing time.  Items will be left curbside with all packaging, which may include a pallet. Tracking information will be automatically sent to you when the order ships. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR CITY STREETS.

Canada: We offer shipping to Canadian commercial or residential addresses with our standard Curbside/Commercial service.  We handle all customs brokerage so you don't have to worry about the hassle of importing your items.  To account for the higher cost of shipping + brokerage service fees, the total cost for shipping to Canada is 14% of the retail cost for Signature Members, free for Pro + Free Shipping members, and 20% of the retail price for Pro members.  A $129 CAD additional Customs Brokerage Fee will also be added for orders under $1,000.  We will also collect your import duties and GST at checkout and handle remitting these payments for you so you can rest assured that you won't get any surprise bills down the road and your product will clear customs quickly.

Hawaii, Alaska, and US Protectorates: For help shipping to Hawaii, Alaska, and US Protectorates, please reach out to us at concierge@danielhouse.club for a shipping quote.  As we all know, shipping furniture to these areas is complicated and expensive, so let our team help you simplify and find the best option for your clients.
