This vintage 3×9 runner is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s commemorative Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration of rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Muren. Further on the Design: This design remarks Muren’s mid-century take on Art Deco rugs, and his unique use of color to create movement therein. This industrial art Deco style enjoys a beige background with geometric patterns in polychromatic tones that achieve this mesmeric effect. Connoisseurs will admire how rare it is to see this artisan look in a shabby-chic texture—an exemplar of Muren’s collectible works, so ahead of his time. Further On the Condition: This mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this distressed low-pile style. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
