This vintage 3×6 runner is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s commemorative Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration of rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Muren. Further on the Design: This distressed style piece enjoys a dexterous geometric pattern in warm polychromatic diamond lattices. Keen eyes will admire the soothing repetition, and how smart these colors play with the texture in this shabby-chic work. Orange, beige-brown, slate gray, and a myriad of other autumnal hues create an inviting look of rustic charm—an exemplar of Muren’ mid-century work. Connoisseurs may further admire this as a collectible, and one of few like its kind from this celebrated mid-century provenance. Further on the Condition: This hand-knotted rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage, perfectly ready for the floor. An especially fine choice for sophisticated projects yearning for country aesthetics. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
