This vintage 7×10 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Muren. Further on the Design: This distressed piece enjoys a European Art Nouveau style pattern in taupe with forest green floral patterns and rich brick red accents. Keen eyes will admire Muren’s unique take on the style, and the subtle but meticulous detail that achieves this look. An exemplar of this artist’s whimsical style, and a collectible large-size rug of the rare few he made. Further on the Condition: This mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage. Ready for the floor and especially worthy of sophisticated projects yearning for country aesthetics. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
