This vintage 4×7 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Muren. Further on the Design: One of the artist’s unique designs that takes from older Aztec-inspired Decor aesthetics, this industrial art Decor piece enjoys abstract geometric patterns in rich gold and navy blue tones. Keen eyes will admire taupe accents in this graphic and unusual piece that evokes such a unique drama and vibrance. It’s rare to see this style in a shabby-chic distressed texture, and this is both a collectible and an exemplar of Muren’s diverse works. Further on the Condition: This mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage. Ready for the floor, and especially well-suited to projects yearning for country aesthetics. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
