This vintage 5×9 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s commemorative Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration of rare curations we believe to hail from mid-century Turkish designer Zeki Muren. Further on the Design: This distressed piece enjoys Aubusson-inspired patterns in comforting ivory tones with blue, green, pink, and brown accents. The pattern is a play of floral medallion and all-over style, and a rustic transitional look that sits gorgeous in this shabby-chic texture. Connoisseurs will admire this as one of Muren’s collectible works, and an exemplar of his diverse influences that translate beautifully to his style. Further on the Condition: This inviting mid-century rug further enjoys otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage. A great choice for projects yearning for French aesthetics and sophistication. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
