This 6×6 square Kilim is a Swedish style flat weave from the Scandinavian rug collection by Rug & Kilim. hand woven in wool and natural yarns, this rug is inspired by vintage Swedish Decor Rollakan and Rya rugs. On the Design: This flat weave enjoys a gride of squares and geometric patterns in tones of gray with beige and white accents. Keen eyes will admire undyed, natural yarns interwoven for a look of striae and subtle color variation. This proprietary technique both honors mid-century Scandinavian weaving techniques and creates a gorgeous abrashed look like a vintage rug. The result is a subtle compliment to the sense of movement that plays beautifully with this style’s minimalist geometry. Our contemporary flat weave further enjoys a durable, heavy body that sits comfortably under heavy furniture and high-traffic spaces. This represents our contribution to this iconic mid-century modern style that lends it more versatile luxury design applications today. Custom Capable: All sizes and colors available—inquire for a quote.
