A 6x9 ode to transitional rug styles in blue and red, from Rug and Kilim's Burano Collection. Hand knotted in notably soft ghazni wool, inspired from classic medallion patterns complemented by elegant geometry and floral motifs.
On the Design: The medallion plays beautifully with the symmetry and subtle movement surrounding its natural gravity and depth. Ultimately the warm-and-cool play of the colors in these tasteful abrashes striations lends this piece its very time-honored aesthetic. Yarn samples can be made available during the process on loom as well, subject to the 3-day window without prior approval of extension. All custom sales following the approved CAD are final without these exceptions.
