First released in 1961, the Model 597 by Italian virtuoso Gianfranco Frattini is the lamp that launched him as a lighting designer. Its unique and playful form perfectly encapsulates Frattini’s extraordinary approach to the aesthetics of light. Model 597’s unique nylon fringes were inspired by both the world of fashion and the fringed entrance curtains commonly found in Italy’s bars and grocery stores in the late 1950s. Thanks to the array of lateral bulbs, the Table Lamps emit a 360º play of indirect light, softened by the fringes to create a rich ambient glow, while the reflective aluminum cover adds warmth to the 597 is light-hearted in expression, but serious about functionality – bringing sophistication, fun and character to interiors without resorting to superfluous decorative flourishes.

Remorse returns are NOT accepted by this vendor. All sales are final.

In the case of damage, claims must be submitted within 5 days of receipt and must include pictures of the packaging before the package was opened, pictures of the damage, and a copy of the signed BOL noting the damages.

Shipping policy

The estimated lead time we share includes the time for this product to be restocked or made to order, prepared for shipment, and delivered with standard shipping options. If you need it sooner, an expedited shipping option is available at checkout, but it only reduces transit time. A concierge will provide a tracking number via email as soon as your order ships.
We do our best to keep the lead time up to date, but we cannot guarantee these estimates. A concierge will confirm the estimated ship date with the vendor and send this to you after you place your order. Standard shipping options include transit for 2-4 weeks after it leaves the manufacturer's warehouse. At checkout, you can select to have your items left on the curbside, brought into a room-of-choice and the packaging hauled away, or to have your items fully assembled (but not installed). You can also select an expedited curbside option which will reduce transit time by up to two weeks. Additional expedited room-of-choice and white glove options can be quoted by a concierge on request.
