Hand-knotted in a unique blend of New Zealand wool, all-natural silk, and exotic yarns, this 9x12 rug hails from the latest prized additions to their acclaimed Mid-Century Modern rug collection by Rug and Kilim, a bold custom-capable line recapturing an underrepresented, iconic period with an entirely new approach to large scale, drawing, varied color and refined texture. Designed by Red Dot award-winner Nikita Nagpal, the bold hues of red, white, and retro tan prevail in the silver gray colorway background, highlighting a series of Atomic Age geometric patterns and dot motifs with a joyful, whimsical sense of movement - accented tastefully by the silk's natural sheen for a play of the light natural to this employ of metallic and funky colors.
