This sofa, designed by Dorothy Draper, graced the lobby of the Mark Hopkins Hotel in San Francisco when Mrs. Draper was commissioned to redecorate the public rooms in 1952. Kindel has artfully captured the elegant sweep of the arm and the curve of the back. Meticulous attention to detail is evident in the complex tailoring of this sofa executed so well by Kindel craftsmen and women. Spring down cushions are skillfully sewn to fit the channels of the back. Solid maple frame. See lounge chair version, 460. Standard with two throw pillows. COM, 20 yards fabric required. (Available without a skirt as 8861)
