The poles/stitching may be turned to the front or the back if you choose to highlight or hide the contrast stitching. As shown, Arnold is our 3 tier shelf kit that is secured to the wall. It simply rests on the floor. Each MDF wood shelf measures: 36 wide x 12 deep x 1 thickness. The wood finish is semi-gloss black. The distance between each shelf is 19 height. The distance between the floor and the first shelf is 9.5. There is a 2 gap between the shelf and the wall. Overall measurement: 60H x 36W x 14 D (from the wall to the front of the shelf.)
