This vintage 4×6 rug is a new addition to Rug & Kilim’s Mid-Century Pasha Collection. This line is a commemoration, with rare curations we believe to hail from multidisciplinary Turkish designer Zeki Muren. Further on the Design: This distressed style piece enjoys an unusual mid-century take on Art Deco rug patterns in beige, rust, and gray tones. Keen eyes will admire a play of underlying geometry and superimposed medallions, and the distinguished retro look it achieves from so many other rugs of this period. Black accents further lend a sense of definition, though all the hues still play naturally with the texture in a modern rustic charm that sits gorgeous. A collectible rug like few of its kind, as much a work of art. Further on the Condition: This mid-century rug further enjoys an otherwise good condition for this shabby-chic lineage. Ready for the floor and especially worthy of sophisticated projects yearning for country aesthetics. Hand-knotted in wool circa 1960-1970.
