Hand knotted in Turkey originating between 1960-1970, this vintage Mid Century runner joins Rug & Kilim’s Mid Century Pasha collection celebrating Turkish icon Zeki Muren with Josh’s hand picked favorites from this period. A much more subtle-meets-tribal design than any other in his collection. The brighter red, green and blue hues marry the deep purple background very naturally, offering regality and bold character with subtle nods to Classic oriental imagery in the double arrow and hook motifs; widely believed to signify the tools traditional weavers would symbolize in their rugs, rarely seen in this modern approach. Mild wear consistent with age.
