My Bywater bureau has been moved so many times and been used in so many different decorative schemes that I struggle to remember exactly when it came into our house. The exaggerated cornice and the beautifully rubbed back white exterior help frame the pretty blue interior with its balustrade and its little drawers. Not only is this bureau extremely handsome, it is also madly useful as a place for storage.
