Why Interior Designers Love PALECEK: Natural Materials Meet Incredible Craftsmanship

During our latest Concierge Hour, PALECEK expert Lori Horton joined us for a closer look at a brand that has spent more than 50 years finding creative ways to turn natural materials into seriously special furniture, lighting, and décor.

Rattan may be one of the brand’s signatures, but it’s only the beginning. Throughout the collection, designers will find everything from raffia and Japanese grasscloth to seagrass, coconut beads, fossilized clam, travertine, leather, and hand-twisted rope. Those materials show up in intricate weaves and unexpected details that give PALECEK pieces the kind of character you really want to see, and touch, in person. And while the brand may once have thought of its pieces as the “jewelry in the room,” PALECEK has grown into a much broader lifestyle collection, with coordinated options for bedrooms, dining spaces, living areas, outdoor spaces, and more.

For designers, the customization possibilities make things even more interesting. Many pieces are available in multiple finishes and fabrics, COM is offered across much of the upholstery assortment, and PALECEK Studio lets designers mix and match table bases and tops for an impressive number of combinations. Hospitality designers have options, too, including custom designs for qualifying quantities. In other words: come for the woven details, stay because you just found half the room.
