For this active Georgia family of seven - two parents, four kids ranging from newborn to teen, and three beloved dogs - this home needed to be more than just beautiful. It had to be a haven. With full lives and full schedules, this family wanted a space that felt luxurious yet deeply comfortable, where they could recharge, host, and grow together as a family.
Refined Comfort: The Private Study
This moody, masculine office was designed for the husband of the family and was fully drenched in Sherwin-Williams Pewter Green. The trim, built-ins, and walls were each finished in a slightly different sheen for more visual interest. The walnut desk and darker countertop add warmth and richness, paired with brass hardware for a refined touch. Thoughtfully styled open shelving and ample closed storage strike the perfect balance of function and form.
