Beyond Beige: Fall 2026 Furniture & Color Trends with Moe's Home Collection

What's next in interior design? According to the team at Moe's Home Collection, it's all about richer colors, familiar patterns, playful details, and a fresh take on natural materials. During our September Concierge Hour, we welcomed Sara Samieian and Maura Dineen from Moe's to discuss the inspiration behind their latest collections and the trends designers should have on their radar.

With roughly 700 new SKUs designed in-house each year, Moe's has a pretty good pulse on what's coming. And this season, the forecast is anything but boring.

Coastal Modern Gets a Makeover

Coastal design is evolving, and we're not talking about seashells and nautical stripes. Moe's is embracing a more contemporary interpretation of the aesthetic, pairing natural woods and woven textures with streamlined silhouettes. Pieces like the Claudia sideboard and bed bring organic warmth to modern interiors without leaning too heavily into traditional beach-house territory.

The result? A relaxed, sophisticated look that feels right at home well beyond the coast.

Color Is Back (And It's Bringing Friends)

If your clients are ready to move beyond gray, Moe's has good news. Warm neutrals are leading upholstery sales, with camel and ochre-inspired tones offering a versatile alternative to cooler palettes. These earthy shades pair beautifully with oak, walnut, and more saturated accent colors.

Speaking of saturation, deep reds are having a major moment. Think burgundy, oxblood, garnet, and wine. Moe's highlighted the unexpected red theory, which suggests that even one strategically placed red element can bring an entire room to life. Consider it the design equivalent of an exclamation point.

Painted furniture is also making a statement, with glossy and matte finishes in deep greens, buttery yellows, blues, and burgundy. The Matilda nightstand, featuring an Italian marble top and Shaker-inspired detailing, proves that practical furniture can still have plenty of personality.

A Little Pattern, A Little Playfulness

Traditional details are getting a fresh perspective through gingham upholstery, scalloped edges, and skirted silhouettes. Moe's is leaning into smaller-scale, time-worn gingham patterns that function almost like neutrals, adding warmth without overwhelming a space.

Meanwhile, pieces like the Clea sideboard and Orla dining chair introduce subtle curves and thoughtful craftsmanship. These are the kinds of details that make a room feel collected rather than overly coordinated.

Designing for What's Next

Beyond the trends, Moe's shared a look at its broader family of brands, including Sundays, known for functional everyday design and performance materials, and Hetta, which embraces a nostalgic, future-heirloom aesthetic.

The biggest takeaway? Interiors are becoming warmer, more expressive, and a little less afraid of personality. Whether it's a burgundy accent, a sculptural silhouette, or a beautifully textured neutral, Moe's latest collections offer plenty of inspiration for designers looking to create spaces that feel both current and enduring.
