Hand-Knotted in Wool and all-natural Silk, this rug is a new addition to the Mid-Century Modern rug collection by Rug and Kilim. This collection is a bold custom-capable line recapturing an underrepresented, iconic period with an entirely new approach to large scale, drawing, varied colour and refined texture. This design by Red Dot award-winner Nikita Nagpal s bold hues on a lustrous silver-Grey background with a fabulous sense of movement. Keen eyes will further admire how finely drawn the geometric patterns and dot motifs are for a rug in this large size and scale. Furthermore, the Silk's natural sheen pays a natural complement to both the metallic and vibrant hues alike for a gorgeous presence in varied light. A neo-New Yorker from New Delhi, India, Surface Designer Nikita Nagpal serves in leading both our in-house art department and our remote design department in India, utilizing an extensive background and an equally impressive passion for the industry. An honors bachelor of arts in Fashion Design with an MFA in Fibers from the Savannah College of Art and Design, 2019 marked Nikita as the recipient of the prestigious Red Dot Award for Design Concepts in Material Innovation, the IDA Design Awards, Gold, and a published Finalist in the Dorothy Waxman Textile Design Prize. With multiple bold, pioneering projects under her belt, Nikita believes in the beauty and necessity of Process Art, a builder with a deep love of all things tactile now working directly with Josh Nazmiyal in their common passion for material innovation and creation. Please note all custom orders are subject to a 3-day return policy upon receipt of the CAD, at which point a full refund may be honoured. Yarn samples can be made available during the process on the loom as well, subject to the 3-day window without prior approval of the extension. All custom sales following the approved CAD are final without these exceptions. Rug and Kilim allows for a 3-day in-home rug trial for you to test the rug in your space before making a final decision. Return shipping is not included.

Shipping Policy

The estimated lead time we share includes the time for this product to be restocked or made to order, prepared for shipment, and delivered with standard shipping options. If you need it sooner, an expedited shipping option is available at checkout, but it only reduces transit time. A concierge will provide a tracking number via email as soon as your order ships.
We do our best to keep the lead time up to date, but we cannot guarantee these estimates. A concierge will confirm the estimated ship date with the vendor and send this to you after you place your order. Standard shipping options include transit for 2-4 weeks after it leaves the manufacturer's warehouse. At checkout, you can select to have your items left on the curbside, brought into a room-of-choice and the packaging hauled away, or to have your items fully assembled (but not installed). You can also select an expedited curbside option which will reduce transit time by up to two weeks. Additional expedited room-of-choice and white glove options can be quoted by a concierge on request.
Return Policy

Returns are accepted with prior authorization within 3 days of receipt. Return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Returns must be in original condition, uninstalled (if applicable), and in original packaging

Damage claims must be submitted within 5 days of receipt and must include pictures of the packaging before the package was opened, pictures of the damage, and a copy of the signed BOL noting the damages.
