The inspiration comes from the tail of these adorable white whales from the Arctic Circle. Dubbed "Canaries of the Sea" for their whistles and songs, the Belugas have a caudal fin with a flat, paddle-shaped structure composed of connective, dense, and fibrous tissue. The armchair's backrest, organic shape, and cover woven in nautical knitting reveres Beluga's tail design and translates into coziness and well-being. The mooring of the naval rope, added to the shuttle of the weave elaborated in nautical knitting, reveals the luxury of the handmade, hours on end of the handmade process that result in an exuberant, dense, and fibrous texture, which holds the eye and makes each piece unique.
